the obama family will come out here and light up that beautiful tree that you can probably see behind me. if your familiar with the tree lighting ceremony -- you are familiar with the tree lighting ceremony, you might be seeing a different perspective than you normally see. we've got the tree behind us. we also have the white house right in line with the tree. so you have a much more spectacular view of that national tree this year than we usually have in years past. another new feature is the tree itself. this is a brand-new tree that was just planted in october. it's about 30 feet tall. it's a colorado blue spruce and even though the name has colorado in it, it came from virginia about 50 niles way from this location. so the national -- miles away from this location. so the national park service is actually hoping this tree lasts for a very long time because when it was transplanted, it was transplanted within the same climate zone. so they're not expecting it to be very shocking for the tree in order to take that transplant. anyway we're expecting that tree lighting to happen very,
